Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Stair Measurement Specialist for a direct hire position with a leading stair and railing company. This role involves performing precise measurements and inspections for custom staircases and handrail installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure stair and rail components: rake rail angles, curved and wall rails, level rails, newels, and fittings.
• Record measurements and inspection data (photos/videos) and upload to project systems.
• Verify blueprints and construction plans against field measurements.
• Report discrepancies between estimates/orders and actual measurements.
• Conduct post-installation inspections for quality and code compliance.
• Provide minor repairs and customer service follow-up when needed.
• Attend site safety meetings and maintain professionalism in occupied homes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of field measuring experience (stairs/rails preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and meet DOT safety requirements if driving company vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied site conditions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
